From FZOTIC:
Like discovering a secret pastry shop in a spring garden, Lilac Brûlée balances the familiar and unexpected: classic lilac finds new expression in a modern gourmand composition.
Bruno's Inspiration:
When customers asked me to transform our beloved Toasted Lilac soap into a perfume, I thought it would be straightforward. But soap and perfume formulas speak different languages: soap fragrances are drawn with bold strokes, while perfumes require fine brushwork.I ended up doing a year of development. The challenge wasn't just preserving lilac's beauty but reimagining it. Lilac notes are used in many soaps and household cleaners. That association is one reason there are few lilac perfumes.By amplifying the hidden almond note naturally present in lilac and adding a gourmand twist, Lilac Brûlée emerged as something unexpected–a floral reinvented as a gourmand. What began as an adaptation became a whole new story, one that honors its origins while charting its own course.
Notes: Lilac, rhubarb, mimosa, marzipan, cinnamon, cream, sandalwood, cedar, tonka bean, vanilla
